Quick definitions:
Participants are GREAT COOKS COUNTY FAIR GROUP MEMBERS who post a recipe in the designated forum thread in or under the Great Cooks County Fair group.
Voters are GREAT COOKS COUNTY FAIR GROUP MEMBERS who encourage participants by posting an encouraging reply directly under their favorite recipes listed in the designated forum thread in or under the Great Cooks County Fair group. During polling week, they will cast their vote on the best recipe posted.
1. All Great Cooks County Fair (GCCF) participants and voters must be MEMBERS of the Great Cooks Community .
2. As a Participant, you must post your full recipe entry and food picture in the Great Cooks County Fair Group-Forum thread that matches the food event. You may enter one recipe for each event being held each month. One photo image is allowed per recipe and should be no larger that 425 x 300 pixels with a resolution of 90.
3. Please post your recipe entry on your homeblog as well and encourage your readers and food blogging friends to JOIN the Great Cooks Community and the GCCF group in order to vote for you.
4. Each food event will have a start date and deadline to enter recipes. After the deadline, the food event forum thread will close.
A Poll will be created so ALL GREAT COOKS COUNTY FAIR GROUP MEMBERS can vote for their favorite recipe(s).
Members will be allowed 5 days after the Polling starts to cast their votes.
5. After the five days, three winners will be chosen. One FIRST PLACE winner, one SECOND PLACE winner and one THIRD PLACE winner. The First Place winner will receive a specially selected prize, along with a blue ribbon image they can hang on their homeblog. The Second Place winner will be awarded a red ribbon badge to post on their homeblog. The Third Place winner will be awarded a gold ribbon badge to post on their homeblog.
