- About Me:
- I have been a foodie for as long as I can remember. As a young girl I would stand beside my Dad and watch him stir the roux for his famously delicious Chicken a la King. Although my mom was a very good cook, she didn’t enjoy it. My dad LOVED to cook. He traveled around the world for work (surprisingly he was not a chef) and would come home and replicate his culinary adventures for his family. I have inherited his passion for cooking. My hearty appetite did not affect my waistline when I was a child (I was a skinny, knobby-kneed kid) but upon reaching my thirties I have steadily gained weight. I am now 40 and officially fat! Disgusted with formal diets (Weight Watchers, Atkins, Grapefruit Diet to name a few), I decided in July of 2007 to continue to cook the foods I love without eliminating entire food groups such as carbs or fat and to simply eat in moderation. I have been blogging my recipes on my blog site “ThreeBitesFoodBlog.com”. I have since started my own catering business.
