Who are your favorite chefs/cooks?
I'm inspired by so many people! There are multitudes of fantastic foodbloggers out there that are absolutely brilliant; of course Jamie Oliver and Lydia Bastianich, Ina Garten, Alton Brown among many others; the forums at stellastyle.com taught me how to eat well without feeling deprived as a diabetic; people who've come in and out of my life and taught me to cook.
About Me:
I'm a 30-something happily married homemaker and home cook. I love all kinds of international cuisine and learning how to make them at home (as well as eat them in restaurants). I enjoy serving my family and friends something wonderful to eat, and educating people with dietary restrictions that good food IS attainable without cheating on your food lifestyle.

Curried Lamb Stew

I have a great recipe for curried lamb stew just posted today on my blog. It's a delicious African-inspired stew that my friends gobbled up! I had to be quick to set aside one serving to save for my supper...

Ms. W. You're very welcome and thank you for your kind words. The blogging world can be a bit tricky at times and I'm sure you meant no harm. Like I said, it's just best to keep it all behind you. *hugs to you*

How are you? I've been spending my spring break holed up in my little house. I was hoping for nice weather to get me outside, but it's been cold and windy, even snowed a couple of times. I baked bread -- simple wholewheat bread with a touch of dark rye. I like it toasted with butter and honey. If I think I'm not going to get it used up fast enough, I make a batch of bread pudding and invite my son over. He loves it with vanilla sauce like my mother used to make it. Comfort food.
